Review: "Now this was really surprising. Boutique is a great commentary on the current Iranian society. Well at least, it has one of the greatest scripts written on existing social issues. Technically, it is a rather amateurish film, but who cares? This film has got scenes that will be remembered. I won’t give away the plot, only to say that it's about a man trying to save a relationship, his failure, and the reasons he fails. A superb realistic vision of Tehran today, and its people, formed around a wonderful story.

Rooygari has a breathtaking comeback with a second to none performance, Farahani is good, and Golzar is acceptable, for the first time in his career. Boutique is worth seeing times and again." -- Farokh Soltani.
