Siavash brings the legend of the "City of the Sun" majestically to life with his debut recording on Aladdin Records. Using broad, vibrant rhythmic strokes interspersed with playful melodies, Siavash creates a sonic masterpiece for the new, adult contemporary listener.
A composer, pianist, vocalist and lyricist, Siavash, who received his classical music training at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, has a rich palette from which to draw. He blends his classical background with pop and jazz influences and his interest in the natural world to create transformative music.
"My primary inspiration comes from nature," says Siavash. "Trees, birds, clouds and rainy weather get my creative juices flowing. I am drawn to green spaces and lakes where I can listen to music and relax. Since I was eleven, I've felt like composing music that would take me away. I play the melodies floating within me- my own inner music."
Previously, Siavash has released four vocal albums and written six film scores. He has also produced numerous recording projects and written many original songs for himself and other well known artists. The upbeat, melodic "City of the Sun" is his first instrumental, New Age release
