In his youth, Iranian auteur Mohsen Makhmalbaf was imprisoned for stabbing policeman Mirhadi Tayebi during a political protest. Decades later, following his release from prison, Makhmalbaf was stunned to meet Tayebi again--this time at an audition for one of his films.
